This 640-gallon custom aquarium by Titan Aquatics Exhibits is currently under installation. It features Aqua Illumination LED pendants, a Bubble King skimmer, and a two-horsepower Reflo commercial pump. A closed-loop system with a Hammerhead Gold pump and a water-cooled Tradewinds Chiller are part of the setup, with filtration located in the basement. An automatic water change system will be implemented.

Protocols & Practices

  • The tank is still in the installation process.
  • The stand and filtration were installed by local carpenters.
  • A closed loop system is powered by a Hammerhead Gold pump.
  • A water-cooled Tradewinds Chiller is used.
  • The closed loop comes through the bottom, hidden in artificial reef structure.
  • Artificial reef structure was built by Rock and Reefs out of Florida.
  • Filtration will be located in the basement, including the sump and skimmer.
  • An automatic water change system will be installed.
  • Approximately 500-600 feet of 2-inch piping runs through the home for this and another tank.
