Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Some links on AllCorals are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer — at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway. That’s it. The longer version below explains which programs we use and, just as importantly, what those commissions do not change.

How affiliate links work

When we link to a product at a retailer, that link sometimes carries a tag that tells the retailer the visit came from AllCorals. If you then make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a small commission. This is a standard way independent content sites fund their work, and it is disclosed here in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides.

The commission never adds anything to your price, and whether or not a link is an affiliate link has no bearing on whether we feature a product.

Programs we participate in

AllCorals participates in — or is in the process of applying to — affiliate programs run by reef-equipment retailers and marketplaces, including:

• Bulk Reef Supply (BRS) — a major U.S. reef-equipment retailer we link to from equipment pages and tank-tour gear lists.
• Amazon Associates — As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
• Other reef and aquarium retailers — additional programs may be added over time; the same rules on this page apply to all of them.

Some of these programs are live and others are still in application or pending approval, so a given link may or may not be an active affiliate link at any moment. Either way we say “may earn” rather than overstating the relationship, and this disclosure applies whenever any such link is present.

Editorial independence

This is the part that matters most: commissions do not influence our rankings, ratings, equipment leaderboards, or the data we publish. Our tank-tour breakdowns, gear comparisons, and buyer’s guides are built from what reef tanks actually run and from product specifications — not from which retailer pays the most.

• We don’t own any equipment brand. AllCorals is not owned by, and does not manufacture, any of the gear brands we cover, so we have no product line to push.
• We rank on merit. A product’s placement in a leaderboard or guide reflects its documented use and specs, not its commission rate.
• Not every link earns us anything. Some product links go to manufacturer pages or to our own editorial reviews because that is the most useful destination — these are labeled and are not affiliate links.

Prices and availability

Where we show retailer prices and stock, those figures are refreshed periodically (typically nightly) and can change between refreshes. Always confirm the current price, availability, and shipping terms on the retailer’s own page before you buy. AllCorals does not process payments — every purchase happens directly with the retailer under their terms.
