Aquarium Artisans provides weekly maintenance for this tank.
The client is a heavy feeder, feeding a pound of krill and four packs of Larry's Reef Services food weekly.
Massive water changes are performed weekly to combat the heavy feeding.
BRS GFO is used to help with filtration.
BRS three-part dosing is used to keep rock colorful and calcium up to keep algae down.
Larry's Reef Services fish-only blend (chunkier blend) is used for larger fish.
Herbivore frenzy is fed to tangs and the fox face.
The custom cabinetry by Benner's Woodworking is UV coated plywood and can hold 50 gallons in case of overflow.
A check valve is installed to prevent overflows.
The cabinet has CNC routing for airflow to the chiller.
The floor was reinforced with a steel I-beam tied into the house's support beams for the tank's weight.

The stand and filtration were installed by local carpenters.
A closed loop system is powered by a Hammerhead Gold pump.
A water-cooled Tradewinds Chiller is used.
The closed loop comes through the bottom, hidden in artificial reef structure.
Artificial reef structure was built by Rock and Reefs out of Florida.
Filtration will be located in the basement, including the sump and skimmer.
An automatic water change system will be installed.
Approximately 500-600 feet of 2-inch piping runs through the home for this and another tank.

The tank is built directly into a steam shower, requiring special considerations for heat and water.
The chiller was oversized to combat heat from the steam shower.
All filtration is located in the basement.
Rain heads in the shower are positioned lower than the aquarium to prevent water dripping in.
A curved panel will be installed for access to tighten bulkheads if needed.
Artificial reef structure was built by Rock and Reefs out of Florida.
The homeowner is aware of chemicals and hair products to keep off the glass.
Aquarium Artisans will clean the tank two to three times a week to keep it crystal clear.
The sump is a 125-gallon standup sump.
