Summary

Compact Hyperspectral LED puck designed for nano-to-medium reef tanks where rectangular fixtures look out of place. Genuine 14-channel control (most 'reef LEDs' fake this with 4 channels split), and the puck profile means it disappears above a rimless build. Atlantis runs a pair over the show tank where space above the water line is the constraint.

★ Atlantis verdict

"Two pucks above the Atlantis show tank since 2026-02. Coral colour pops harder than our previous Radion Gen 6 setup, and the silent fanless design matters because the tank is 1.5m from the TV. PAR distribution on a 60×40cm footprint is excellent — corners get within 15% of centre."

What sells it / What holds it back

Pros
Silent — no fan whine for media rooms or living-room tanks
14 independent channels = real spectrum sculpting, not gimmick presets
Compact puck profile disappears above a rimless build
PAR holds up to 50cm depth — works for 60cm-tall tanks
Cree + Osram diodes; not the no-name LEDs in cheaper pucks
Cons
App is Bluetooth-only (no cloud / no remote dimming away from home)
No built-in lunar / cloud-cover simulation — schedule is straight ramps
Premium price vs. Chinese 14-channel clones
Mounting arm sold separately (illumagic-mount)
Heat sink runs warm — keep ≥10cm clearance above

Setup & dial-in

1
Out of the box: do NOT run at 100%. New corals bleach.
2
Week 1: cap whites at 30%, blues at 50% — let coral acclimate.
3
Week 2-4: ramp whites by 10% per week to your target (typically 60-70% for mixed reef, 80%+ for SPS-dominant).
4
Use the Illumagic app's PAR estimator — you want 150-300 µmol at coral height for mixed reef, 350+ for SPS.
5
Schedule: 12-hour cycle is standard. Sunrise/sunset ramp = 60 min each. Peak window 4-6 hours.
6
If you see brown algae bloom after install: cut blue channels by 15%, not whites.
