What we won’t do

Reefers can spot a paid placement from a mile away. To keep the trust we’ve built, there are a couple of lines we don’t cross.

No fake reviews
If we don’t like the product, we won’t pretend to. We’ll return it or tell you privately — we won’t fabricate enthusiasm for our audience.
No undisclosed sponsorships
Sponsored content is clearly labelled. Every reefer-trust dollar is earned the hard way.
No livestock harm
We won’t test anything that puts the tank’s livestock at unreasonable risk. The reef comes first.
No exclusivity in the same category
We may feature multiple brands per category (e.g. salt mix, lighting) so our audience gets honest comparison.
